Alvarez was born in the capital of the Kingdom of Rylina. Her father is a high-ranking military officer in the kingdom, while her mother is from a noble family. Being from a well-off family, Alvarez received the best education possible from a young age.

She inherited her parents' best traits. Not only is she remarkably good-looking, she also demonstrated an astounding aptitude for combat. After passing the “Golden Trial”, she officially became part of the “Golden Legion”.

Alvarez is a once-in-a-generation talent. Seeing this, the Golden Legion instructor customized a more advanced syllabus for her. Living up to expectations, her combat skills improved dramatically. Obsessed with war and combat by nature, she even requested permission from the kingdom to consult famous military officers for advice. The Kingdom of Rylina worships strength, and a rising star like Alvarez caught everyone's attention. Many believed that Alvarez would eventually assume command of the Golden Legion.

However, a woman of her caliber was bound to make others jealous. A scheme was enacted, the “War of the Oathbreaker”, which shocked the entire kingdom. Alvarez was reduced to a mere prisoner in an instant.

However, Akami's situation is very complicated, and the dangers there are unimaginable to outsiders. As if reading her instructor's mind, Alvarez not only reiterated her determination to go to Akami, she also avowed her desire to become stronger.

Years ago, the Golden Legion was ordered to root out any Void members lurking along the border of the Kingdom of Rylina. However, somehow news of this was leaked, and almost every member of the Golden Legion who went on that mission was killed. Alvarez was the only survivor. The Golden Legion is filled with battle-hardened elites from the Kingdom of Rylina. Alvarez is highly capable, but she lacked the combat experience of her senior officers. As such, people were baffled that a rookie would be the lone survivor of an army that never knew failure. According to rumors from the Kingdom of Rylina, before the big battle, Alvarez sent a letter by falcon. She explained that she was sending a letter back to base as per her commander's order after she reported an anomaly she discovered. However, the falcon was later found in the Void's territory, and priceless treasures were also found in Alvarez's possession. These discoveries seemed to implicate Alvarez as being in league with the Void.

There was no hard evidence to prove that Alvarez was a traitor, but as the only suspect, she was still exiled.

Akami, the Trading Nation, is a place where people from all walks of life gather. Alvarez, now exiled from the Golden Legion, stands out like a sore thumb. In order to hide her true goal, Alvarez seldom interacts with anyone, and only takes on missions with high bounties. This is how the rumor that “Alvarez will do anything for the right price” started.

Within its confines, she forged friendships with Sparta, the God Slayer responsible for annihilating several prominent families of Akami, Atak, a deranged genius attempting to control spirits through alchemy, and Aldis, a fallen legendary mage. These immense negative emotions and wicked thoughts impeded Alvarez's investigation until she finally detected traces of the Void energy. Unfortunately, it was already the eve of the cataclysmic Night of Turbulence.

All the guards of the Sea Prison transformed into Void creatures, leading to the prison's destruction and the escape of all the felons. Amidst the chaos, Alvarez's judgment solidified—the source of the Void's power resided in Sparta's Bloodlust Demon Blade.

With the prison in ruins and the felons dispersed, Alvarez found herself unable to prevent the impending disaster. However, in the interest of preserving world stability, she resolved to capitalize on the turmoil by assassinating Sparta and eradicating the origin of Akami's Void.

Success or failure teetered on a knife's edge. Just as Alvarez's razor-sharp blade inched toward Sparta's heart, flames infused with the essence of a phoenix erupted, knocking her off her feet and sending her hurtling into the depths of the ocean.

When Alvarez eventually regained consciousness, she discovered that fishermen had rescued her. Questions plagued her mind: Why did Sparta have a connection to the Void? From where did his phoenix fire originate? Was Sparta responsible for the outbreak of the Night of Turbulence? Yet, with Sparta and the felons long gone, the truth remained elusive. In her pursuit of answers and peace for this world, Alvarez embarked on a new path—to find Sparta and the Bloodlust Demon Blade and to apprehend the criminals who had escaped during the Night of Turbulence.
