The Lord of Hell plucked the “Eternal Rose” from the Dreamland as a present for his beloved and then tossed it into the Mortal Ocean, shattering a once solemn promise into broken red petals drifting soullessly in the water. All vows, sweet whispers, and tender words were consumed by flames, engulfing a torn heart in pitch-black sorrow.
Love now is not the eternal light but rather a dying flame in the wind, with the countdown to its end beginning from the moment of its birth. The forsaken Eternal Rose ultimately transformed into Daphne, the Rose's Watch. She is both the cherished token presented by the Lord of Hell to his love and what was cast away once love was gone. As the symbol of love, she spreads deep-seated resentment and sorrow, weaving a tapestry of heart-wrenching pain.
Encountering, budding, growing, and then withering. The more brutal the struggle of withering and the more painful the end, the greater her joy. This joy follows her as she traverses the world as the writer of ever-darker stories.
