Sparta

Why there are no stat tables here

The ATK, HP, DEF and Power a hero shows in game are your numbers, not the hero's. They move with your gear, research, altar level, hero level and stars, exclusive gear level, mystic beast level, beast mark levels, beast battle rank-up, decorations and more.

There is no single correct figure to publish, so this page publishes none. What is on it (faction, rarity, role, skills, exclusive gear) is the same for everyone.

Biography 1

Sparta had a pitiful past before becoming the iron-blooded leader of the Demon Legion.

Sparta's Infernal Clan originally lived on Hita island, but later migrated to the Hermian Plain after a volcano erupted there. Infernal Clan members were born with a strong physique and were very good at fighting. They soon managed to find a foothold on the Hermian Plain, but they also got into a feud with the indigenous people.

Sparta used to hang out around the Amika seaport when he was a child. Because of the unique appearance of the Infernal Clan, lone clansmen often become the target of sneak attacks. It was during those attacks that Sparta honed his combat skills and gradually became a celebrated fighter.

In the beginning, Sparta made a living by working as a porter at the docks, but he found the work menial and the salary insufficient. As time went by, Sparta yearned for something more challenging, and his ambition caught the attention of the leader of the Akami Trading Nation. Tempted by the offer, Sparta joined the group and committed unforgivable trespasses, which resulted in several other clans joining forces against the Infernal Clan and slaughtering them.

The flames of rage consumed Sparta. He wants revenge... revenge against the world that deceived him!

Biography 2

The Fire Devils were spared from the destruction of their clans due to the obscurity of their ancient texts. Sparta, driven by vengeance, sacrificed his soul to restore his homeland's ruins. In doing so, he stumbled upon a secret: the Fire Devil clan and the Phoenix clan were ancient enemies, yet the Fire Devils relied on their fire to embark on the “Quenching Path.” However, as the Fire Devils dwindled, the Phoenix also withdrew from the world, burying this history in the sands of time.

With the aim of dismantling several powerful families, Sparta departed from Akami Harbor and began a quest to find the Phoenix Clan. After crossing mountains and seas, he discovered faint clues leading to the clan's location, coinciding with the outbreak of the Battle of Annihilation, a war launched by the Void to eradicate the Phoenix Clan. Witnessing the phoenixes' deaths, Sparta was haunted by memories of the Fire Devils' tragedy. In this chaos, he managed to save a girl from the Phoenix Clan.

Since the Void had nearly wiped out the Phoenix Clan, and only the fire of a living phoenix could awaken the Quenching Path, Sparta was left with no other option. However, even after leaving the Phoenix Clan's territory, he couldn't shake off his responsibility for the Phoenix girl. Sparta repeatedly reassured himself that there must be alternative paths to gain strength.

Ironically, fate had different plans. Near Akami Harbor, the Phoenix Girl inadvertently revealed herself, attracting the attention of minions from several powerful clans who coveted the Phoenix Clan's power. Sparta valiantly attempted to rescue her but was outnumbered and gravely wounded. In a critical moment, the girl's body erupted in flames, enveloping Sparta in a gentle embrace.

The Phoenix's fire ignited Sparta's heart, burning eternally within his chest. Regret, pain, rage, and anger surged through him. The Quenching Path reached its climax, and as the girl gradually closed her eyes, Sparta's furious roar reverberated. The minions of the clans were instantly consumed by an overwhelming blaze, which then quickly traveled toward the great families of Akami Harbor...

Biography 3

With his own strength, Sparta reduced the powerful families of Akami Harbor to dust. However, he eventually exhausted his strength and was apprehended by law enforcement. Initially, they attempted to execute this monstrous being, but bullets, poison, and even alchemical weapons had no effect. Consequently, they were compelled to confine him to the most dreaded place in Akami—the Sea Prison.

Rumors circulated that after the destruction of the great families, Sparta became unusually quiet. Even when he was bound in heavy chains and confined to the dark dungeon, he exhibited no reaction, as if his soul had been lost. The only constant was the magic blade firmly in his possession, emitting a faint heartbeat-like resonance. His eerie, magical eyes stared into the darkness, seemingly awaiting something.

Several years passed, and memories of the demon imprisoned in the depths of the prison had begun to fade. It was on that night when the answer was unveiled, as Sparta once again revealed his fangs.

The Night of Turbulence descended silently upon the Sea Prison. All the prison guards transformed into Void creatures, and chaos ensued as the prison crumbled. Felons escaped, and a significant number of them willingly followed Sparta, becoming the founding members of the Demon Legion, which also served as a valuable asset that supported Sparta in his bid for the Arch Chancellor position after he joined Nightfall.

No one understood why the guards transformed into Void creatures, nor did they comprehend what Sparta had done to inspire these felons to swear their allegiance. However, it was undeniably connected to the Fire Devil, who burned with the Phoenix's fire.

“Henceforth, I am an enemy of this world.”

According to hearsay, these were Sparta's parting words upon leaving Akami. The Sea Prison itself turned to ashes in the flames, signifying that the future Nightfall Lord had fully embraced the path of darkness.
