Three things went up this week, and all of them exist because they were already happening somewhere you could not see.
Gift codes
Players post codes in Discord, they scroll away, and by the time anybody finds one it has expired. Every code we see is now on one page, newest first, with the day it turned up. Nobody publishes an expiry for these, so the page does not invent one - it gives you the date and lets you judge.
What the game actually said
Patch notes, maintenance windows and notices come out of the official Discord and reach nobody who is not in it. They are here now, in the game's own words, as they are posted.
A Discord bot
The bot answers in your own server: heroes, survivors, items, buildings, equipment, research, and what a whole research chain costs. It posts each new gift code to a channel you pick, and it can remind your union before Union Boss, in everybody's own timezone. It speaks seven languages without being asked and it costs nothing.
And a picture of your own
Members can pick a hero portrait instead of a letter, and there is now a page of everybody here and what they have put in.
